There's a number of problems with the Motif scrollbars.

1. CTRL-Button1 on arrows doesn't jump to beginning or end.
2. There's at least one extra pixel between the scrollbar and
   the (e.g.) text pane next to it.

There's probably other incompatibilities if you read the spec carefully.

Also, I can't figure out how to move the scrollbar to the left side of
the scrollpane, where it belongs (:-)).

And finally, sometimes when I run the Notepad example, it comes up without
any scrollbar at all when I load a large file. The scrollbar reappears
when I resize the window.
