The HotJava Browser crashes 2 out of 3 times at launch when running in compiled mode on the alpha1_F version of HotSpot.

        STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
        - I installed HotSpot alpha1_F on a 166MHz Pentium using Windows 95.
        - Launched HotJava Browser 1.1 using HotSpot in compiled mode. The -XX:-UseNewSafepoints and -Xcomp options were used.
        - At the time the main "Welcome to Java" window is drawn, the browser will usually crash by it self (If it doesn't, try clicking the mouse on the browser window. When the crash occurs, the system will report a runtime error: Fatal:scope must be present. C:\junk\vm\runtime\vframe_hpp, 324. The crash happened 2 out or 3 times. It is pretty reproducible. If the browser launches successfully, quit the browser and try again.

The crash is 100% reproducible on the following 1.2Beta2 JFC (Swing) demos when the JVM is running in compiled mode: SampleTree, Simple, and SwingSet. Just launch the program and it will crash.

QA has not seen this problem for some time. We believe that the problem is gone because engineering has put many fixes into the HotSpot code. The bug has not been seen in several builds. Verified using HotSpot alpha1_N.
