Commerically there is only the Advent SNMP API and I think its in your interest to
widen the spectrum. A Java SNMP API, perhaps included in JDK(?), from Sun would help
a lot. I'm aware of the inclusion of SNMP in JMAPI (or what's it called nowadays), but
what I'm looking for is SNMP only. This API could be basic (to be built upon by others) or
"complete".
As a developer in Network Management I find the lack of Java SNMP-support a bit
disturbing and it is seriously affecting our future product choices.
