When multiple Swingset applets are running in IE/Navigator through Java Activator and the browser windows are activated/deactivated couple times, the keyboard focus in the Swingset applets is lost. It happens most often with JComboBox and JTextField. Even we tried to set the focus by clicking on the Swing applet, the focus is still gone to the browser window. This bug is really critical because it makes Swing unusable in Java Activator. We have tried Swing 0.7 and Swing Pre-1.0, and the bug still exists. This bug has been reported to the Java Activator team from 5+ customers already.

This bug used to be only on win32. With the current JDK 1.1.6 promoted build it
is showing up on the Solaris verison of activator too.

From the latest jdk 1.1.6 build on jeff dunn home directory, the bug has disappeared on both platforms. I think it has been solved.
