Test Configuration:
WindowNT, JDK1.1.5, Swing-1.0.2(4/14 build)
Caret problem:
* The caret become invisible if I do the following step.
Senario:
a. Select 'Plain Text' tab.
b. Click anywhere in TextArea.
c. Switch the look to motif.
d. Try to click anywhere in TextArea.
e. You can't see the caret.
This was found while testing SwingSetApplet in IE and it is true also on application mode.

After caret is invisible: If I minimize and restore SwingSet back, caret is visible.
Even though caret is visible again, the caret become invisible if I change the look to metal and back to motif.
Showing caret is not stable when user changes the look between metal and motif.
Swing-1.0.2 04/27 promoted build.
