I have a JDialog object, using GridBag layout on the root JPanel. Contained in one of the child JPanel's, is a JPasswordField.
The default '*' echo character is used, and as text is entered into the JPasswordField, the cursor progressively moves away
from the last '*' displayed (i.e. whitespace appears between the * and the vertical cursor bar).
This symptom gets worse as you type more text into the field.
This problem did not exist in Swing-1.0.1
