      Clipping text with a text shape appears slow.

      Run the Java2D demo located in /usr/local/java/jdk1.2/solaris/demo/jfc/Java2D

      Click on Clipping tab, click on the Text demo or watch the Text demo. The bottom string clips text with a text shape.
