Swing Notepad demo text area is only a narrow vertical band along the left edge of the app window when using JDK-1.2beta4-I or JDK-1.2beta4-H on Solaris 2.6, Windows NT and Windows 95.

Steps to Reproduce:
0) Launch Notepad.
1) Grow the app windows so you can see it (a separate bug).
2) Attempt to enter text.
RESULT: The text entry area is only a narrow vertical band along the left edge which grows as you type in it.
