1. The problem can be seen at http://www.pccl.demon.co.uk/javabug/display.html. Even when a character is supported by a font, it is displayed correctly in buttons, labels, lists etc. but is displayed as a "?" in TextArea and TextFrame components.
2. The source code at http://www.pccl.demon.co.uk/javabug/Disp1.java demonstrates the problem.
