Corrupted true type fonts seen on jdk1.2beta4"J" build w/ Japanese locales on Solaris running the demo applets and JavaTest. This wasn't happening with the "I" build.
Steps to reproduce:
1) on a machine with the Japanese locales installed, set up your environment variables to point to the "J" build
2) launch any demo applet using appletviewer
Results:
You get the following message:
Warning: TrueType font file `/usr/openwin/lib/locale/zh_TW/X11/fonts/TrueType/hei.ttf` is corrupted.
Warning: TrueType font file `/usr/openwin/lib/locale/zh_TW/X11/fonts/TrueType/kai.ttf` is corrupted.
Warning: TrueType font file `/usr/openwin/lib/locale/zh_TW/X11/fonts/TrueType/ming.ttf` is corrupted.

test machine has chinese locale fonts installed "zh_TW", this is not a japanese locale problem.
