I am not able to start Javatest on the win32 platform using jdk1.2 (full version
"JDK-1.2beta4-J") because of GUI problems in the Javatest Execution Status window (the window is like an icon instead of full screen). But when I start Javatest using jdk1.1.6, its OK.
The command I'm using for starting the Javatest harness on win95 is as follows:
H:\JCK-12beta4>I:\java\jdk1.2\win32\bin\java -verify -mx84m javasoft.sqe.harness.Main
mohammed.sayeed@eng 1998-08-07
The above problem still persists with the new jdk1.2fcs build with the java full version as shown below:
D:\JCK-12beta4>I:\java\jdk1.2fcs\win32\bin\java -fullversion
JAVA.EXE full version "JDK-1.2fcs-D"
The command I'm using for starting the Javatest harness on win95 is as follows:
D:\JCK-12beta4>I:\java\jdk1.2fcs\win32\bin\java -verify -ms12m -mx64m javasoft.sqe.harness.Main
Workaround:
To start Javatest inspite of this problem, select ACTIONS Menu and then select START RUN. This will start the testing but you will not be able to monitor the progress of the testing in the Status window. To see whats going on, you will need to go to the Test Results Summary Folder window.
