On Win32, when the window is first mapped, the focus is set to a component different the the first component that the DefaultFocusManager would chose. Since on Solaris, initial focus is not set to any focusable subcomponent, this problem doesn't currently appear there. This bug certainly involves awt, but i am filing it here so I can track it down and reassign the parts that need to be reassigned.
