Steps to reproduce
------------------
1. Load ImageRotation applet
2. Click on the 2 windows to rotate
3. Notice the graininess of the tests - see ImageRotation.gif

NOTE:- I also get following error when I close ImageRotation windows on Solaris-x86 -
java.lang.NullPointerException
        at RotateApplet2.destroy(Compiled Code)
        at sun.applet.AppletPanel.run(Compiled Code)
        at java.lang.Thread.run(Compiled Code)
