SwingSet SplitPane text boxes for entering Divider Size, and other sizes have almost disappeared & are unusable with JDK-1.2fcs-C on Windows NT and Solaris.

Steps to Reproduce:
0) Launch SwingSet with one of the configurations above.
1) Go to the SplitPane pane.
RESULT: The text entry boxes at the bottom have become little vertical lines.
