Installed 2.6 HW 05/98 on a SS5.
Configured CDE to open a hotjava browser at CDE login screen.
Files to be placed under "/etc/dt/config" can be found at:
<URL:ftp://kromo.swiss/pub/lja/6187490/etc_dt_config.tar.Z>
With the inital setup of Solaris which contains JDK 1.1.3, it works fine.
If I install JDK 1.1.6 under "/usr/java1.1.6", and change "/usr/java -> java1.1/"
to "/usr/java -> java1.1.6", then restart "dtlogin", the hotjava browser does
not show up; instead, a blue area, the size of the broswer, is displayed.
As soon as a user logs in, HotJava starts to display the document ...
JDK 1.1.6 has been installed from the package "EPFLjv116", available at:
<URL:ftp://kromo.swiss/pub/lja/6187490/EPFLjv116.tar.Z>
