<LI TYPE=A|a|I|i|1> and <LI TYPE=DISC|CIRCLE|SQUARE> are valid HTML3.2 codes and hotjava also supports like netscape and ie browser. When HTMLEDitorKit creates HTMLDocument, it has correct tag(name=li) and correct attribute set(say, type=a) but its representation doesnot override its default representation(type=1 for OL, type=DISC for UL).
If UL or OL has a type attribute, say type=CIRCLE, and its LI has a different type, the type of LI doesn't override the type of UL.
