We install the plugin on several machines.
They are all 200mhx Pentium’s running NT 4.0 SP3. Some havee
Netscape 3.01, some have Netscape 4.04 and 4.05 and some have
IE 4.0 or 3.02. Typically one version of Netscape is on every
machine and one version of IE.
A fresh installation of IE / Netscape and then a fresh installation
of the plugin are completed in exactly the same way. On 3
machines the plugin shows only a few messages when loading
an applet. On 4 of the machines a line is displayed for every
class that is accessed.
On the machines where the plugin console displays many more
messages applets will not load successfully, however, on the
machines showing far fewer messages the applets will always
load/run successfully.
