The JVM crashes invoking a method when Symantec's
JIT is on and doesn't when JIT is off or a
different JIT version is used

It was found doing DSA sign with the Jsafe 2 beta
release. Here is a reproducibility
                   JIT as is NO-JIT symcjit ea2 for 116
 JDK 1.2 Beta 4 crashes works works
 JDK 1.1.6 crashes works works

I have been able to move the relevant Jsafe
code to the test application and still reproduce
the crash. If most of the code in the method is commented
out the methods is invoked. I can make the test
case with sources available upon request, it's
rather long to post here.

This JDK 1.2b4 crash resembles BugID 4138234 that
I had reported earlier and was fixed for
JDK 1.1.6 by Symantec.
