Some demo applets crashing on Win95 with FCS-K build in 24bit mode.
May be similar to bug# 4174979

Steps to reproduce:
1) set environment variables to point to the K build
2) compile and launch the ArcTest applet - appletviewer *.html
   (seen with other applets as well)

Results:
The demo will crash on launch.
You get an almost invisible dialog box that should say "This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down".

Demo launched successfully in 8, 16, and 32 bit modes and on WinNT.
