Seg fault running Java2D demo

Run the Java2D demo, select the Paint demo
page. Use the window manager to maximise the app.
It pauses for a second, then segfaults.

It seems independant of thread mode, JIT, or
memory size. The interesting thing is that you
can increase the window size gradually, and it's
ok, *until* the window is the full size of
the screen. Then you get a segfault again.
