I am using JDK1.2 Release Cadidate 1 on Japanese Windows NT 4.0. I have also
seen this problem on Japanese Windows 95.
The problem. When file names are dragged from the Explorer to a DropTarget
the java.util.List that is returned does not contain the proper file paths.
Japanese characters appear as ????? .
To test. Complie the attached application DropBox.java. Start the application
under Japanese Windows95 or Japanese WinNT 4.0. Drag something from
your desktop to the DropBox. Notice that the filenames outputed do not contain
Japanese charaters but rather ????? in place of Japanese characters.
