It would be very useful to those of us on the battle lines
if you would build in a method for saving gif images to
disk. It could take a file object and the name of the
variable containing the image, then open a stream and
write the file to disk with the appropriate encoding.

If you know of a product or some example code that
does this, I would be most grateful to have it.
