Java Plug-in 1.2 rc2 crashes in Netscape Communicator 4.06/4.5 after the Console shows
the proxy information correctly and
before the cache information should be
displayed. This crash occurs ALWAYS and
makes the Java Plug-in 1.2 rc2 useless.
The fault (access violation) occurs in
a dll without debug information, it
seems like in one of the two
npjava??.dlls of the Plug-in
 
Reinstalling the Plug-in or the browser
didn't help.

This crash also occured with Java Plug-in 1.2 rc1.
