in my project i am using JFilechooser for selecting files from
floppy drive. if any floppy is there in a:\, then JFilechooser is
giving the list of files in that floppy. if there is no floppy disk
in floppy drive and user selected a:\ thru JFilechooser, then
JFilechooser is not responding any thing. it is not giving any
error message dialog box like FileDialog in AWT.
information:

i am selecting A:\ in "Look In" combo box in JFilechooser. i am
getting null pointer exception. i am unable to caught the exception
within JFileChooser.
please give me solution for my problem.
