(1) Java Runtime Startup Time

Running even the smallest stand-alone Java application on Windows is very slow because the entire VM needs to be loaded
for even a single Java class app.

Is there any possibility of using a "fast start" option for the Java VM/JRE similar to how MS Office 97 does it? If
the Java Runtime is always cached in memory, the app startup time might be much faster.
