Hi,
I've just downloaded the early release of the JavaSound API, and I can't seem to get it to work. I've adjusted the relevant variables in the RunApp batch file, but am getting a message about being out of environment space. What is going on??!? Is it because I'm using JDK1.2 release caandidate 1 rather than Java 2 or JDK1.1.x as specified in the readme?
If anyone can give me an idea of where I'm going wrong, it would be most appreciated as I'm desperately trying to write an application using MIDI for a university project.
Kelvin.
P.S. My JDK is installed in C:\jdk1.2 and the java sound folder (i.e. javasound08) is in this directory. Could I just have edited the batch file incorrectly?? What should I have put in it??
Thanks in advance....

if you are using win 95/98 try to increase your enviroment space by
adding this line to your config.sys
shell=c:\command.com /p /e:2048
hope it helps
