Does or will JavaSound support capture from CD player
and output to CD burner devices? This is a mighty handy
feature, in fact isn't the latter farily vital for those serious audio
applications JavaSound caters to?

Probably Jini could be used for accessing CD burner devices or did i miss
the idea of Jini?
hmm but i think that this has some thing to do with the java sound api.
