There should be some way for developers to specify which gestures are used
for selection and which for Popup menus. There used to be a bug that the
two gestures were the same, and so conflicted (trying to select from a
popup menu changed the selection on the underlying component), but this
was fixed, fairly simply, by hard-coding the selection and popup gestures.

For the future, it would be nice to have a way for developers to specify
these gestures, and allow LAFs to listen to the hints...
