Create a JFileChooser. View the combobox contents on a Windows NT machine. All you will have are the assigned
drive letters. No information on the drives, no desktop, no network node access, etc.

After waiting a year for UNC name support in the Win32 filename parser, now we have regressed in network file access
in the file chooser?!
