FileDialog can't work if Shift-JIS filename exists.
Please try following steps.
1) Compile attached program.
2) Make some file or directory named with Shift-JIS characters (for example "nihongo" by hiragana) on the same directory.
3) Run the program on Solaris2.5.1 in ja(EUC) locale.
Then, FileDialog is not displayed and the program hangs.
I tested it on Solaris2.7/2.6/2.5.1 and Windows95/98/NT,
but this problem occurs only on Solaris2.5.1 .
