Running an internal swing + jdbc based database application client called Frontline 1.2.
The command is: /java/web/tools/frontline1.2/foo -url jdbc:oracle:thin:@javaweb.eng:1521:WEBAPP
The script foo points to the Solaris 1.2 JDK with hotsparc installed. I'm using:
/net/tapas/export1/testexec/hotsparc/1.0beta1/latest/hotspot1_0beta1_hp-bin-solsparc.zip
build of hotsparc. Hotsparc and jdk 1.2 are installed locally on my machine scooter.eng in
/opt/jdk1.2. (the foo script points to this install)
Problem:
When I copy using "Alt + c" in Netscape and then paste in Frontline "Control + v" Frontline
seg faults and a HotSpot vm error is reported:
#
# HotSpot Virtual Machine Error, Unexpected exception occured
#
# signal=10, pc=ef23db50
[3] Segmentation fault /java/web/tools/frontline1.2/foo -url jdbc:oracle:thin:@javaweb.eng:1521:WEBAPP
