Since bytecodes are not always provided by a JVMTI implementation, we need an alternate way to know when an application is at a special location within a method. For example, it would be very helpful to have an isAtExit function to know that a location is an exit point for a particular method. Existence of such a method would also help group other events at the location with a method entry event.
