The HTMLEditorKit is bolding text incorrectly. To illustrate the problem

set path (setenv PATH) to JDK1.2
cd /usr/local/java/jh1.0/demos/bin
./hsviewer jhug.hs ../../doc/jhug/

then set path to JDK1.2.2 and observe the difference on the opening page.
