Hi,
As you know CDE group is bundling JMF Player with Solaris 8. And JMF uses
JavaSound to mix and render sound.
Current audio tools in CDE recognize AUDIODEV environment variable which
contains pathname to user's audio device. If not set, the tools default to
/dev/audio. Recognizing AUDIODEV is particularly useful in Corona
environment.
What plans does JavaSound have for AUDIODEV support?
Thanks,
Vijay
