On a win98 machine, some glyphs are not displayed. They are displayed on a NT4 SP3 machine.
This happen on the win98 machine when you draw a unicode String with a Graphics, or when you use a unicode String with swing. This is not happening within standards awt components.
Step to reproduce
*****************
Win98 machine, std install + multilingual fonts (from win98 CD)
jdk 1.2.1-A
font.properties attached to this bug
run SymbolTest applet, from the jdk install
go to glyphs at offset 100 (from 100 to 1ff)
They are not displayed.
Win NT machine, std install + Service Pack 3 (probably not necessary, but this is the setting I used to reproduce at the solution Center)
jdk 1.2.1-A
font.properties attached to this bug
run SymbolTest applet, from the jdk install
go to glyphs at offset 100 (from 100 to 1ff)
They are displayed correctly.
