In this test, we load two images, one normal image, one transparent image. You can see two images from the screen. Then we try to print out them, only the transparent image shows up.
Test file is attached.
Previoulsy a large transparent image was displayed over a smaller image and was tried to be printed. Only the transparent image was printed. The background image was not printed. This problem is reproduced in the test case TransparentImageTest in myTar.tar.z
It has been observed that when a small transparent image is drawn over a bigger image and tried to be printed out. The transparent image is printed ,but the background image is not printed in the transparent area of the transparent image. This problem was noticed in the K, L and M builds.
Now in the recent builds, the transparent image is not displayed at all. This problem was back tracked upto O build.
The test case that reproduces this problem is TransparentImageTest.java in the TransparentImage.tar.z file attached.
The above mentioned behaviour is exhibited only in windows, it is printed properly in solaris.
In any case the transparent images are not printed properly in windows.
