MIN_PRIORITY Thread gets lost intermittently in Java2Demo JavaMedia demo

Build : 'M' (Build 'L'...ok)
OS : Sol only (Win32...ok)
app : Java2Demo.jar demos.Mix.JavaMedia
         execution: java -cp Java2Demo.jar demos.Mix.JavaMedia
         (This demo is including the JDK demo/jfc/Java2D)

In this demo, there is a timer thread with setPriority to MIN_PRIORITY which intermittently getting strived of processes or thread simply not started. The counter should increment when either Play button or Loop button is pressed.
