While running any test applets after installing java_plugin for solaris with kestrel build M .A dailog box appears while loading plugin .But the applet runs fine when responded "OK" to the dialog box and a ClassNotFoundExceptione is also thrown in the console. This is tested on solaris 2.6 and 2.7 (NS3.x and 4.X)
The following message appears in the dialog box :
Javaproperty javaplugin.jre.path defined as JRE
But that directory doesnot exist.
Using JRE from /home/sridhare/.netscape/java
The console output :
Java(TM) Plug-in: Version 1.3beta-M Jul-28-1999
Using JRE version 1.3beta Classic VM
User home directory = /home/sridhare

This behavior is also evident when a user specifies Java Run Time Environment other than the default. To reproduce:
1. Select "Other..." from the Advanced Tab on the Java Plug-in Control Panel
2. Specify path to jre ( ex: /usr/local/java/jdk1.2/solaris/jre/bin )
3. "Apply" changes and load a 1.2 demo applet.

The dialog box does not appear anymore when running an applet right after installation. The dialog box STILL comes up though when a non-default JRE is speficied. The complete message on Netscape:subprocess diagnostics (stdout/stderr) is as follows:
Java property javaplugin.jre.path defined as
/usr/local/java/jdk1.2/solaris/jre/bin.
But that directory does not exist.
Using JRE from /home/teresat/.netscape/java
Verified using Java Plug-in Build F for solaris.
Verified as partially fixed.
