The stock font.properties.ar and font.properties.aw files that come with JDK1.3 Kestrel "O" do not
have a Unicode font such as Lucida Sans Regular. Add:

dialog.3=Lucida Sans Regular, DEFAULT_CHARSET

or else you get a nasty crash when you run any Swing Component with Arabic or Hebrew text:
