To input Chinese, user need select Chinese words from input method window. Normally on 2.5.1,the input method window has white back color and black text color. But when input Chinese TextField or TextArea, the colors of input method windows are changed.
-- To CDE, the back color is changed to black and the text color is changed to white. Although there is a little strange, users still can input the Chinese words they want.
-- To OpenWindow, both the back and text color are changed to black. Then user can not input the Chinese words they want. (USers still 'can' input Chinese, but they don't know what they select, because the input method window is a 'black hole'

All patches needed are correctly installed.
To reproduce, compile the attached file.

This also happens in Traditional Chinese (zh_TW.BIG5) on Solaris 8. When running AWT test suite, when we typed Ctrl-Space to toggle to Chinese input mode, the IM status region changed from [ASCII] to blank. When we tried to compose a character, we don't see anything until we commit the character.
