The documentation for method Calendar.set(int, int, int)
is grossly insufficient.

The method throws IllegalArgumentException under some
conditions, but neither that fact nor the conditions are
even mentioned. For instance, it doesn't mention any
connection to the lenient interpretation property of Calendar.
