filechooser disk selection not compliant with WIndows behavior

      Filechooser windows do not allow the user to specify and
      switch disks by typing in "C:" or "D:" in the text-field,
      they only accept "C:\" or "D:\" for going to the root-directories of disks. This is not compliant to the Win32s
      implementation of the filechooser.
