9/20/99 eval1127@eng -- bug # 4202282 is still open against 1.2.2 and predecessors. To ensure that this is reviewed and hopefully resolved for kestrel FCS,
am filing a new "shadow" bug.

This is similar to bug #4223328 (and all its ilk). Printing a
table with an empty string in one of the cells causes a
"java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Zero length string passed
to TextLayout constructor." exception to be thrown.

This is supposedly fixed in Kestral beta, but I'm running:

java version "1.3beta"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.3beta-O)
Java(TM) HotSpot Client VM (build 1.3beta-O, mixed mode)

and it's still happening.
