      J2SDK v1.3 beta now supports EXIT_ON_CLOSE.
      for example
          setDefaultCloseOperation(EXIT_ON_CLOSE);

      but the document of WindowConstants class
      ( javax.swing.WindowConstants ) does not
      mension this.
