It is impossible to work out how to use the Document class from the documentation supplied with the JDK [or the Tutorial?]

Some basic examples showing how to use a document, including how to load it with data from a file would be extremely helpful.

It is not possible to have on-tap the Java Tutorial's - and anyway in some countries one has to pay per minute to use the Internet!
