On Solaris ONLY, menus/tooltips which use an AWT Window don't always paint
properly -- the top half of the window remains unpainted until you
move the mouse over that area (then the items paint correctly).
Unfortunately the problem can be intermittent - but I can reliably
      reproduce it on my system:

      To reproduce:

      1. On Solaris bring up the original SwingSet demo.
      2. Resize the window to be wider and shorter (so there's only a couple
rows of tabs and the window is approx. 200 pixels tall).
      3. Click on the "Tooltips" tab
      4. Put the cursor on the lower-right utter of the cow to bring
up the large html tooltip (if the tooltip still fits within
the frame's height, resize the frame smaller so the tooltip
         is taller than the window)

You should see the bug -- the tooltip is rendered incorrectly,
with "<html> In case you thought..." showing at the top.

      5. Now bring up the "The Swing Team" menu

You should see the same affect -- the top of the menu doesn't
paint until you wave the mouse over the items

This is reproducible with the latest 1.3 build on /usr/local/java.

      -----------------
With the latest 1.3 build (J?), this problem is no longer reproducible.
