OS : Sol 7, Win98 (laptop)


This problem doesn't show up on all machines. Utilizing soft synth with standard bank. (other banks not checked) Able to reproduce on my Sol 7 and my laptop 98. Unable to repo on my Win95 with hw MIDI but bypassed for soft bank.

Steps:
1. launch java -cp JavaSound.jar MidiSynth
2. check the Sustain checkbox
3. move mouse over keys

-if no break up is heard then keep running over the keys with sustain on. If no breakup is heard then it won't happen on that machine.

after a few back and forth over the keys you should start to hear the breakup of the sound. Instead of smooth sustain it breaks up and the mouse gets sluggish like something is saturating the CPU time.
