STEPS TO REPRODUCE

- Install JDK1.3 RC1 build P on a computer running Windows 98
- Run the JumpingBox demo using appletviewer with -classic option

C:\jdk1.3\demo\applets\JumpingBox>appletviewer -classic example1.html

- When the window is drawn, click several times in the window where the moving box is drawn.
- Quit the demo

RESULT

The demo crashes while shutting down.

The crash does not appear to happen with the HotSpot client.

Here is a more detailed set of instructions on how to reproduce this crash.
As soon as the demo's main window is open, start clicking. Repeatedly click as fast as you can and continue clicking for at least 1 to 2 seconds (at least 10 mouse clicks). Next, quit the applet by either using the Quit menu item under the Applet menu or clicking the Window's close box (The close button in the upper right corner of the window. At this point, the crash will happen. The crash does not appear to happen on Windows NT. You must start clicking as soon as the window is drawn or the crash will not happen.
