The Java IO subsystem doesn't allow access to Extended Attributes and File
Forks. This is a problem for WindowsNT, IBM OS2, IBM AS400 and Apple MacOS
since these operating systems carry along additional information in "subfiles"
that are associated with and copied around with the "main" file.
