Many Japanese characters appear incorrectry when using "Monospaced" Font.
This seems to see as the same phenomenon as BugID 4281098.
Thought BugID 42801098 was All locales,
this time is only UTF-8 locale on Solaris 7 both sparc and x86.

Next, I changed font from "Serif" to "Monospaced".
Many Japanese Characters can't be display correctly.
But When pushing "Next" or "Previous" Button, they appear correctly.

      2. Run the test program.
         java CharView

      3. Set "serif" font.

      4. Count up the code number up to 5000 by pushing "Next" button.
